PURCHASE OF MASTIFF:
1. Seller, is the owner of the described Mastiff until the agreed purchase price is paid in full, (if
by check, check must clear prior to pick up or delivery by Buyers). The Seller will retain ownership
until the purchase price is paid in full. At such time all terms and agreements are met by both Buyer(s)
and Seller(s), ownership of said Mastiff transfers to Buyer(s).
2. Buyer(s), understand that any deposit is non refundable unless death of reserved Mastiff puppy
occurs prior to purchase. (In such event, Buyer(s) may be refunded the deposit, or Buyer(s) may
reserve the right to apply deposit to a mastiff puppy of the same quality.)
3. Buyer(s), agree that if the Mastiff purchased from Angels In The Room Mastiff Kennel is used for
Breeding, that the Mastiff WILL NOT BE BRED PRIOR TO 18 MONTHS OF AGE FOR A MALE AND 22
MONTHS OF AGE FOR A FEMALE. And that said Mastiff WILL ONLY be bred to a PURE BRED,
AKC Registered, English Mastiff. Buyer also agrees that this Mastiff, or any of the Mastiff's offspring
WILL NOT be sold to a pet store, pet wholesaler, or to any one that you either know or feel will not
provide kind and proper care for the Mastiff or it's offspring.
BUYER(s) AGREES:
1. That said Mastiff will be cared for in a humane and lawful way.
2. That said Mastiff will be given routine Veterinary care by a licensed & Mastiff knowledgeable
Veterinarian.
3. In the event that said Mastiff can no longer be cared for, the buyer agrees to return the puppy back
to the original sellers, without refund, so that a proper home for the puppy may be found.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
1.) The Seller assures that the dog you are purchasing is a purebred, AKC registered English
Mastiff and that the pedigree furnished is correct.
2.) Every effort has been made by the seller to insure that the dog is delivered in a healthy sound
condition. (Puppy has received proper vaccinations and worming appropriate for its age.)
3.) A licensed Veterinarian must examine the mastiff pup within 48 hours of receipt and seller must be
notified of results with in 24 hours of the examination. During the initial exam, should your
veterinarian find the puppy of poor health or detect any physical health problem that would
require further veterinary care (other than required vaccinations and/or treatment for any type
of parasite or bacteria, internal or external), you must contact the seller within 24 hours of the
said findings. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of this guarantee. A Puppy with a
defect must be returned to the seller along with certified veterinarian's report of such findings.
This report must be written on the veterinarian's letterhead or stationary. A puppy must be
returned to the seller in order to qualify for a replacement puppy. If the puppy is not returned,
or if the puppy is euthanized without the seller's permission, this guarantee will be null and
void and no replacement puppy will be given. This guarantee does not include: uneven bites,
undescended testicles, demodex mange, inguinal or umbilical hernias, fleas, worms, ticks, or
ear mites, coccidian and kennel cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and is
usually caused by bacteria. Other disorders not covered by this Guarantee include those
caused by environmental factors such as: allergies, Demdodectic mange, and other auto immune
disorders.
4.) Buyer agrees to provide the mastiff pup with routine preventative care, follow vet Guidelines
on deforming, vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and house the dog correctly.
5.) The puppy is guaranteed to be free of Parvo virus and distemper for 48 hours upon arrival to
buyer. Buyer must have the ELISA test performed within 48 hours of purchase if claiming that
the dog has either of the viruses.
6.) This mastiff puppy is guaranteed until 24 months of age against fatal and life altering Congenital
disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. Congenital (genetic) disease includes
Severe hip dysphasia, which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery
to correct. (Any hip dysphasia occurring from obesity or any cause other than genetic is not
is not covered in this guarantee.) Genetic defects also includes the kidney, heart, pancreas,
spine and liver problems of a severe, life-threatening nature and not created by neglect of the
owner. Proof of Genetic defect must be performed by two unassociated, licensed Veterinarians.
And each report must be from the veterinarian on his stationary or letterhead. Any puppy showing
serious genetic defect must be reported in writing along with Veterinarian Statements within 24
hours of findings.
7.) If a puppy dies within 24 hours of purchase, the buyer will pay to have a necropsy done and if
reason is found to be congenital, the seller will replace the puppy. Seller IS NOT responsible
for any veterinarian bills.
8.) A puppy showing any serious genetic defect will be replaced as follows:
a.) mastiff must show defect before 24 months of age.
b.) Seller must be notified of problem with in 2 business days of the licensed
Veterinarians stating findings.
c.) 2 reports showing diagnosis must be from two unassociated licensed veterinarians
stating the same problem.
d.) Buyer must provide seller with legible copies of the puppies medical records showing
regular veterinary check-ups, current vaccinations, deworming, and heart worming
prevention.
f.) This replacement contract is only valid with the original owner/buyer, and is not transferable.
g.) By signing this agreement both parties agree to be bound by all terms set forth in this contract.
The buyer fully agrees that if it is found that your puppy has been mistreated, neglected or
abused, the animal will be returned free of charge, at once to the breeder. You also fully agree
that there will be no refunds or replacements in the above circumstances. This agreement
shall be deemed a legal and binding agreement and is under the jurisdiction of the State of
North Carolina, in the county of Caldwell.
